I live in Montreal and recently purchased an unlocked apple iphone 8gb from an online retailer “Timtechs” that has an office in the same city. The phone works on GSM networks so works on Rogers in Canada. http://www.timtechs.com/unlocked-apple-iphone-8gb-prd113.html
The phone works great and it meant i could avoid having to do the flashing required otherwise. Hope that helps.
DON”T do it u will be so sorry for spending your hard cash on a piece of **** phone that has no GPS can’t send mms music play back sucks battery life sucks to big for jeans pocket or shirt, forget about off the market accessories unless you pay out the *** for apple start reading some forums and u will change your mind the voyager .envi are much better so is blackberry i’m in china and brand new apple Iphone sell unlocked for 165. 00 USD equivalent ever wonder why
Helo pilot has a point but thats why u have to be sure where u get it and 3rd option is the recomended one so make your choice wisely
There are 3 kinds of Unlocked iPhones (so watch out) :
1) Opened iPhone to cut green wire to connect with black wire.
Then Downgrade zip saved onto iPhone. then iPhone up/down grades and there you have a unlocked phone, but many people have problems with Google Maps.
2) unlocked iPhone with Basic Software used on PC like http://www.iphonegeek.com/ but its old software based
3) Unlocked iPhone updated Newest Software MAC Based (witch is important) its 100% capable as if u had ATT with no Problems all applications working. you can find this at http://www.TronicVasion.com/ a trustable website
So make sure what you get but im guna asure you not to trust ebay Hope my Information was good enough
