Why Is The The Apple Iphone S Cheaper In The Us Than The Uk?

The Apple iPhone s in the UK ( FROM APPLE STORE UK ONLINE ) is £342.50. 8 GB
The Apple iPhone in the US ( FROM APPLE STORE US ONLINE ) is $199.99 16 GB
So in the US you get the same phone with A BIGGER storage capacity for LESS money. ($199.99 to $559.73) This is apauling?

    It is a bit cheaper, but the difference is greatly exagerated by the way in which we pay for mobile phones in the US. Here, most if not all of the cost of a new phone phone gets tucked into the monthly service bills while in Europe you are accustomed to paying more for the phone upfront and less in your monthly bill.

    Everything is more expensive in the UK for example for a pair of Abercrombie & Fitch jeans in the US which may cost $60 in the UK the same pair is $90.

    well, first uk has higher standards therefore their products might be a little pricier.
